Chicago to Host 2015 World Doubles Championships

The seventeenth biannual World Squash Federation World Squash Doubles Championships will be hosted in Chicago, Illinois, for the first time in the tournament’s history, May 6-10, 2015.

The 2015 World Doubles Championships will, for the first time, feature World Squash Federation-accredited age-division championships—from 35+ and up—alongside the men’s, women’s, and mixed professional draws.

The Onwentsia Club, University Club of Chicago, Racquet Club of Chicago, Winter Club of Lake Forest, and the METROsquash Academic and Squash Center will jointly host the tournament.

Criteria for Squash Doubles Association (SDA) and Women’s Doubles Squash Association (WDSA) members representing the United States is now available.

The 2013 World Doubles Championships were held in New York City. Squash Doubles Association (SDA) world No. 1’s Damien Mudge & Ben Gould won the Men’s division, while another Aussie pair, Narelle Krizek & Paul Price took the Mixed Doubles title, and Americans Natalie Grainger & Amanda Sobhy claimed women’s gold for the United States.
